*Pega is being used as a BPM tool for the Document Management at BOA. Following are specific responsibilities for this critical role: Responsible for architecting and designing business applications using Pega PRPC and other Pega frameworks. Provides methodology, solution design, business architecture and UI design guidance to project teams developing BPM/BRE solutions using Pega Provide thought-leadership across business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements Develop comparative solutions across jBPM, IBM BPM and Pega for all new initiatives ( collaborating with other technology experts). Develops and demonstrates an advanced knowledge of the PRPC (PegaRules/Process Commander) Architecture and all PRPC design and implementation features across pega frameworks Works in conjunction with Program Manager to size/estimate, manage scope and risk Accountable for aligning the business and technical features of the delivered solution matches the stakeholders requirements, and commits to Customer Success (realization of business* *benefit) Ensure that systems are built for change, scalability and reusability. Identify opportunities for reuse and platforming leading to incremental reduction in TCO and time to market Actively participate in Business value assessment and business requirements elaboration phases Review the designs developed and validate against the guardrails and best practices Educate and govern the teams on PEGA implementation methodologies and on PRPC solutions spectrum KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND KEY CHARACTERISTICS: BS / BTech Degree required. Masters preferred. Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in architecting and development of enterprise applications on Pegasystems. Minimum 5 years experience across analysis, design, development and application deployment of J2EE enterprise application systems or similar technology platforms Experience in J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Java), Oracle and/or DB2 and MS/SQL , Experience in Websphere or Weblogic Application Server & Strong OO experience Experience in Financial services and Banking sector is preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills are required.
