Job Title: QA Tester Location: Washington, DC Durations: 6+ Months Contract Description: Designs, writes and implements testing scripts, test tools, SQL queries, and test drivers for Database/ETL applications. . Create and manipulate test data using XML files to validate positive and negative conditions. Create and manipulate test data in Database to validate positive and negative conditions. Validate target data against the source systems. Review, Analyze and use Data Model to understand Data Flow and create Test scenarios for data validation. Validate system produces appropriate status files, logs and error file. Ability to run Autosys, ETL Jobs and Unix shell scripts to process in Test environment for end-to-end validation. Ability to submit test data directly to ESB and backend services. Develop SQL queries using various aggregate functions, Joins, sub-query to validate Data mart. Ensures that test case standards are adhered to for all test cases included in regression suite.
