A minimum of 5 years related experience in designing and building ETL processes using a variety of tools (specifically custom software applications using C# preferable). The primary engagement is to analyze to systems, data map between them, design the ETL mechanisms, and work with .Net developers in building ETL processes to move data between two large, yet different, financial payment systems (Oracle to SQL). We are migrating between two different systems, each with its own suite of products and modules. The migration process will be built using C# and will have some limited user interface. The system may be designed to interface with web services to move data. Tools such as Informatica or Ab Initio will not be used, however, experience using such tools is a plus.* *Skills and Competencies* *1. Strong written and oral communication skills* *2. High energy, positive attitude, professional and mature* *3. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment* *4. Ability to ensure timely communication of any project-sensitive information to project leadership* *5. Ability to confidently speak with external clients regarding approach, data mapping, process design, etc.* *6. Demonstrated competency for adapting to new environments, quickly grasping overall architecture and key components* *8. Experience and ability to reverse engineer complex databases, understand complex data structures and data, and ability to data map between different relational databases.* *9. Ability to quickly assess existing design strengths and weaknesses and effectively communicate perspective* *10. Provide guidance and insight into developing quality assurance test cases to validate data migration processes. Experience with creating automated data comparison routines for automated testing is a plus.* *11. Must possess a meticulous eye for detail* *12. Experience working in a tightly version-controlled and process oriented financial corporate environment* *13. Required Technical Skills* *a.
