Position: Amdocs CES (Customer Experience Systems) Developer
Location: Bensenville,IL
Duration: 6 Months
*Job Description:*
Provide Production Support responsiblities for support of a new telecom
Billing System for Customers. Support includes investigation and resolution
of customer incidents in Order Management and other components of the
Amdocs CES (Customer Experience Systems)
Provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by
developing and supporting applications within the mature technology and
leading edge technology environments. Utilize mature and leading edge
technology programming methodologies and languages. Adhere to coding
standards, procedures and techniques and contribute to the technical code
documentation. Remain aware of new technologies / programming
languages. Perform unit and system testing. Participate in application
support and enhancement activities.
Production Support is a 24x7 responsibilitity. The Candidate would need to
be in a client’s office 15 business days a month (thus does not need to be
locally based, but willing to travel) and would provide support nights and
weekends on a rotating basis.
*Qualifications*
College degree, specialized training or equivalent work experience
Understanding of at least one applicable programming language (JAVA) and
design technique
Experience with Production Support processes - ticket investigation,
analysis, root cause investigation, communuication of workarounds and
resolutions
Experience with Amdocs Order Managment System 7.5 or higher,
exposure to other Amdocs applications such as CRM, Customer Manager,
Billing Platform is also valuable.
Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures
Knowledge of design and programming techniques that provide security
Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
