This position is part of client Solution Delivery Department within IT. A database developer* *works in a complex production environment as well as a series of non-production environments established to support multiple concurrent development and testing efforts. Client* *production database environment primarily consists of Oracle databases needed for its many operational systems as well as a data warehouse and data marts. In order to develop solid* *solutions, this position works primarily with Solution Architects, Data Architects, developers, testers, and Enterprise DBA’s on project work guided by Project Mangers under client Solution* *Development Lifecycle (SDLC). A database developer also supports existing solutions in production and lower environments. *
*Essential Job Duties: Works with Data Architects and Designers to create detailed designs and data models for solutions Works with Application development teams to create applications and services Advises and works with individual developers to create well performing database queries Deploys solutions in accordance with client Change Management policies and procedures throughout all test environments and into production.
