*Title:* *informatica Administrator* posted on 2013-07-08 07:36:46 *Job Description:**Position: Senior Informatica Products Administrator* *Location: Richmond, Dallas, NYC, Kansas City preferred* Duration: 12 month Contract (At least) Resource *must be willing to extend/possibly go permanent* *Interview process: 2 phone interviews* *Work Status must be GC or US Citizen* *Informatica Products Administrator, Sr. * - *This senior level position needs to have experience in Informatica PowerCenter 9.1 or higher, AIX 6 or higher, Oracle 11g or higher, Windows Server 2008, SQL Server 2008 or higher.* · *Preference for the position to be located in Richmond, Dallas, NYC or Kansas City.* · *Requires the contractor to carry 2 laptops for home coverage* · *On call work required* *Job Requirements:* *Basic Qualifications * - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred - Seven or more years of system analysis or systems development experience - Three or more years in the role of Informatica PowerCenter administrator - Experience working with several programming languages, operating systems, hardware and software - Experience working with relational databases to facilitate systems analysis *Specific Qualifications * - Candidate must have a good working knowledge of Informatica administration and be capable of doing the following: - Implement Security Standards and roles - Create and maintain PowerCenter folders and folder access - Create and maintain connections (relational, application, etc.) and system username/passwords. - Manage and maintain existing Informatica interfaces: PowerCenter, PowerExchange, High Availability, Metadata Manager, Reporting Service, Informatica Data Quality, ODBC connections, etc - Ensure services are up and running - Knowledge about configuring for high availability, multiple nodes, grids, contingency failover - Knowledge about configuring Team-based development, Real-time edition, Change data capture - Participate in defining standards and best practices for administration - Participate in defining and provide guidance on best practices for data integration architects and developers - Deploy Code (UNIX and application) across multiple tiers - Implement migrations, upgrades, patches and service pack implementations - Support infrastructure planned maintenance and outages - Opening Informatica SRs (support requests) and work with the infrastructure support team to investigate and resolve issues - Provide user support by investigating issues, enforcing standards, and answering inquiries - Install, configure, migrate and support new interface setup: Web services, OBDC connections, etc - Ensure code and configuration data are properly documented, versioned, stored in appropriate tools - Establish and enforce UNIX security protocols - Advanced knowledge of UNIX scripting, tools - Experience with interfaces to flat file transfer products on UNIX platforms - Strong analytical and problem solving skills for design, creation and testing of programs - Strong communication skills to interact with team members, support personnel, and provide technical guidance and expertise to customers and management - Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members - Leadership skills - Ability to work in a self-directed work environment - Ability to work in a team environment under a resource pool model - Excellent time management skills - Experience working with teams that are geographically dispersed *Preferred Skills* - Informatica PowerCenter 9.1 or higher - AIX 6 or higher - Oracle 11g or higher - Windows Server 2003 or higher - SQL Server 2008 or higher - Microsoft products: SharePoint, Office, Project, InfoPath, Lync, Outlook *Click here to view full job descripton and apply*<http://www.ejobsville.com/display-job/5363/> (Guest users can also apply) ------------------------------ Best regards, eJobsVille.com - For The Best Tech Jobs In Town -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
