Hi Folks,

Good Evening,

send me resumes to rame...@systelinc.com

*Position: **Senior Data Modeler*

*Location: Seattle, WA*

*Duration: 12 Months +*

*Mandatory Skills: *

· Our need is for a *Senior Data Modeler* who can create a
consolidated data model covering all the aspects of the proposed Rapid
Design Value system. The system is intended to facilitate the planning of
materials testing through to the creation of material properties data known
as allowable or design values.

· The aspects of the system include test project planning and
tracking, design of experiments approaches to establishing the set of tests
to perform, planning for physical testing and needed test articles,
planning for analytical modeling of physical testing, automation of the
analysis processes, data management of the resulting test and analysis
data, data manipulation of the test and analysis results, data display, and
the distribution of allowable and design values to the end users.

· The conceptual architecture for the system places the data in the
center surrounded by a framework that performs data query and access
functions which is in turn surrounded by the end user functions organized
into modules related to end user roles.

· Certain parts of this process are currently handled by existing
computing systems with defined data structures. In some cases the
computing system is commercial software and in other cases the software is
still in development by client’s developers. Other parts of the process
use files to pass information from step to step.

· There is a need to create an overall data model to ensure data
interoperability; establish a common set of attributes for identification,
project, access, and security use; reduce the need for data
transformations; to provide guidance for further development efforts, etc.
Data structures currently in use include (object-oriented) objects,
relational tables, text files, spreadsheets and MatML (Materials Markup
Language).

· Data gathering activities will involve discussions with
representatives for each of the process areas described above. The
completed data model will show all the data entities used in the overall
process, their attributes and their relationships.

· Deliverables would include entity/object data models covering all
the data used within the functionality modules plus some data flow diagrams.
