Develop technical models based on IBM Cognos 10 BI (version 10.2.1 solutions), Dynamic Cubes, FM models and Transformer models as appropriate for complex problems. Develop reports using report studio, active reports and scorecards using metric studio Configure aggregation and determinants for Multi-Fact/Multi-Grain queries Work effectively with the database team to optimize the database through database optimization techniques and summary tables or materialized views Lead a small team of offshore architects and developers Participate in overall architecture design, assessment and roadmap as needed. *Job Requirements* Bachelors’ degree desired 5+ years of experience in Report development using Report Studio, Metric Studio, Active Reports for Mobile devices, Analysis Studio and Query Studio 3+ years of experience in Meta data modeling (DMR and Relational) using Cognos Framework Manager 8 or higher. 2+ Years of experience in Cognos 10 and experience in Dynamic Cube and Active report 2+ years of experience in dashboard / scorecard applications Detailed knowledge of Dimensional Modeling techniques and best practices required. Strong data modeling and data architecture and analytical skills. Excellent self-management skills (task lists, status reports, and prioritization). Work independently on day to day tasks with minimal supervision.
