Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills ? 7+ years of experience in administering heterogeneous Storage environment ? Experience in administering EMC (VMAX, VPLEX, Symetrix, Clariion, VNX) ? Experience in administering Netapp unified storage (6000 series, 2000/3000 series) ? Experience in administering IBM XIV enterprise storage, Dataguard replication / Migration environments ? Experience on administering and maintaining data replication, using SRDF, Timefinder, Snapmirror, IBM XIV ? Experience in administering HP SE (Storage Essentials) ? Administration and troubleshooting NAS environments ? Provide analysis and implementation support for storage solutions initial implementations, customization and integration with the intent of optimizing the operational environment as well as day- to-day and long term management ? Experience in capacity planning within the Storage environment Roles and responsibility ? Maintain technical operations of storage devices, SAN fabric switches, Data replication using storage software, routine day-to-day health check, documentation, maintaining and recording tracking various issues ? Development of processes, scripts (Perl & Shell), tools, or applications to provide support for system administration, process automation, performance and capacity monitoring, preventive maintenance, disaster recovery and security ? Knowledge of the Solaris, HPUX, AIX, Microsoft Windows, and Linux platforms as it relates to storage level tasks ? Experience working on tiered storage concepts (like tier 1+/1/2/3, data placement on appropriate storage tiers, archival approach based on aging, IO, access and usage) ?
