*Job Description:*Position           : Help Desk Support - Trainer
Location           : Portland, OR

*OVERVIEW:*

Within a client NX project, Company is obliged to provide end user CAD
Training and Support for a group of approximately 500+ engineers. This
position provides classroom training and assistance in all aspects of the
use of CAD applications including but not limited to creating models,
plotting models, troubleshooting models, and releasing models.  In
addition, this position provides other end user support of customer
proprietary software relating to Product Lifecycle Management.

*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*
·         Instructing engineers in a classroom environment and over the web
in the use of NX.
·         Preparing and organizing training material and classes
·         Solving incoming CAD related problems to the Service Desk.
·         Helping users to utilize NX best practices and optimize their use
of NX in the areas of design & manufacturing
·         Providing end user support and troubleshooting for supported
NON-CAD applications such as file and data transfer applications
·         Providing end user administration such as creation and
administration of user IDs and passwords
·         Monitor and answer student and help desk calls as required
·         Regular, predictable attendance
·         Other duties as assigned

*QUALIFICATIONS:*
·         Prior experience as a classroom instructor or mentoring
co-workers preferred.
·         At least 2 years prior experience using CATIA V5 or NX in a
CAD/EDM environment.
·         Willingness and ability to learn additional CAD applications and
modules.
·         Help Desk support experience desired.
·         Experience with CAD data management application, such as
Teamcenter
·         Troubleshooting experience and ability to quickly diagnose CAD
related problems.
·         Ability to work under pressure and interface well with customer
staff.

*EDUCATION:*
2 year Associates degree in CAD or equivalent experience.
