These projects include .Net MVC web applications with an Oracle backend and mainframe applications that have to be converted to the web using ASP.Net MVC while maintaining connectivity with DB2. There are legacy web applications using wen forms and VB.net that will have be maintained and enhanced by this developer. Project Duties include web application development, testing, implementation of projects developed using ASP.Net MVC and Web Forms, AJAX, JQuery and JQuery UI, C# and VB.Net Deliverables include estimates for development, quality code developed on time, automated unit tests, unit and system testing. *This position is needed for a period of 3 years.* Note:** The candidate should have strong experience working in large teams that follow an iterative development process. Each iteration is planned and executed using the waterfall methodology. This position is required to take a set of given system requirements and implement the requirements using the established design approach This position is required to have experience in working in a large enterprise, understanding of *object oriented technologies*, *Entity Framework 4.0* for developing the Data Access Layer, and developing *ASP.NET MVC web applications using the MVVM design pattern, AJAX, JQuery and JQuery UI.* The candidate should be *strong in C#.* Along with these newer technologies, the candidate should be familiar with working on web forms applications. The candidate should be experienced in using TFS for source code management and application life cycle management.
