development, integration, release and scaling of new and existing product

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Works under the direction of a lead data architect on Agile Scrum and
Waterfall Project teams responsible to develop new or enhanced enterprise
computer applications to develop*
*database designs that meet business requirements.
Establish/enforce data governance standards as required
Establish and enforce information and data standards as required
Serves as the database design authority at a project level by understanding
the business gowal and technology constraints and designing appropriate
database solutions.
Defines how a solution will be constructed in context with existing
databases and application programs.
Defines how a solution will be constructed in context with existing
databases and application programs.
Applies database design standards and best practices to achieve extensible,
maintainable databases.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education & Certification Requirements:

be substituted.)

Degree or Equivalent in Education and Experience
Required Bachelor’s
Preferred Master’s

Major or Area of Concentration
Engineering, information systems development, computer sciences, operations
research, languages, writing or business administration
Formal training in information or data modeling for transactional
processing, data warehouse or business intelligence required.  Computer
Associates ERwin® Data Modeler experience*
*required.
PMP, DBA, Green Belt or Agile Scrum certification highly desired.
