* * *Title: Software System Architect* *Location: San Jose, CA* *Duration: 6 Months plus* *PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:* The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of experience covering most of the following areas: • Over all 7 plus years of hands-on experience in architecture, design, and development of software systems, in mobile or web-based companies. • Hands-on experience in OS applications and services, Linux & Android framework, file systems, client-proxy model, and power management. • Extensive experience in middleware architectural design including design of structures, and communication patterns, both for applications and the middleware level, and the development tool-chain. • Experience in various programming languages (Java, C, C++, C#, ActionScript , VB.net, or equivalents) • Hands-on database design and development experience (MySQL, Oracle, Informix, MS SQL Server, Mongodb and Hadoop, or equivalents) • Familiarity with enterprise applications (Web Services –REST, SOAP/HTTP, XML, JSON, Portal ) • At least 3 years’ experience in working on smart mobile devices and/or smart TV platform architectures including working in a lab type environment involved with full life-cycle software development and processes. • Knowledge of SoC architecture, embedded system, DMA, Cache, and processor is a plus. • Experience in modeling and simulating impairments in a modem simulation environment and aligning with real-world results. • High-level understanding of mobile device networking technologies driving the smartphone, tablet, and personal entertainment device markets such as 3G/4G Cellular, WiMAX, WiFi, and Bluetooth. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Must have BS or MS in related areas such as Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Computer Science. *Venkat* Aclat Inc.
