Applies a thorough knowledge of one or more mainframe applications to complete assignments. Maintains solid relationship and strategic partnering skills with business partners, team members, and external associates. Applies a thorough knowledge of mainframe development tools, processes, and technical architecture to complete assignments Excellent verbal and written communication Possessing a strong analytical ability Gather and understands the requirements for adhoc and minor enhancement and translate the requirements into Functional specification document with block diagrams and logical flow charts. Estimate effort for minor enhancement projects and keep track for the development on daily basis. Coding and unit testing for adhoc and minor enhancements that are handled only at onsite. Provides support for WIT, UAT and SIT for minor enhancements. Provides support for server migration/upgrades. Provides solution to accommodate adhoc changes in front end applications that uses the mainframe resources as one of their inputs.
