Job Description: Job duties include but are not limited to the following: • Provide operational support through applied knowledge/expertise of Hyperion and Essbase toolset and identifying process improvement opportunities • Support ETL processing • Perform data analysis and data validation • Support system implementations for enhancement to existing Hyperion products as well as new Hyperion products • Update existing documentation (i.e. data flows, process flows, SOPs) • Business Specific Criteria (preferred skills): o Business Analyst experience o Experience producing financial deliverables o Experience with PeopleSoft Financials o Experience migrating/upgrading Hyperion Planning and Essbase environments o Experience creating ad hoc reports and queries using the Essbase Add-In or SmartView Knowledge of Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications/connections *Job Requirements:* • Bachelor’s degree or related work experience • Extensive knowledge of Essbase syntax and use of Essbase Administration Console (EAS) for creating calculation scripts, reporting scripts, MaxL scripts, MDX scripts, business rules, data load rules and dimension load rules • Experience implementing Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications and converting business requirements into equivalent Data Forms, Business Rules, etc. using Hyperion/Essbase toolset • Experience creating and maintaining Essbase Block Storage (BSO) and Aggregate Storage (ASO) cubes including Dense/Sparse settings and performance tuning • Experience with Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) toolsets (e.g. Oracle Data Integrator, Informatica) • Experience writing/reading complex Structured Query Language (SQL) • Experience in creating automation scripts for Essbase cubes using Esscmd/Maxl/MDX, Batch scripts and Shell scripts • Experience developing reports in Hyperion Financial Reports, Web Analysis (or Web Analyzer) with multiple dimensions and complex hierarchies • Experience working with MS Office products(MS Excel, MS Access, VBA) • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Strong analytical skills • Ability to meet deliverables in a complex and dynamic project environment *Thanks and Regards Ryan Marshall, Panzer Solutions LLC 360 Connecticut Ave, Suite # 159 Norwalk CT 06854 USA Direct: 203-652-1444 * 127 **[email protected]* <[email protected]> *www.panzersolutions.com* <http://www.panzersolutions.com/> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
