This position is needed for advanced data warehouse business analysis,
database design, ETL design, and data warehouse support. Best-qualified
candidates will have strong experience using *Oracle, Erwin and Business
Objects* in a data warehouse environment.
This position will do the following: work with advanced-level accountants
and other business customers to understand their data analysis and
reporting requirements; design data warehouse table structure to satisfy
business requirements, identify data source, develop strategies for data
extraction from source systems, design transformation and loading into data
warehouse target systems; develop, implement, and follow technical and
process standards; develop strategies for system fault tolerance, data
recovery and purge; work to improve the efficiency of data warehouse
applications through the use of indexes, compression, and other techniques;
work within both formal and “agile” application development project
management methodologies; function as a database liaison on the data
warehouse team.
Qualified candidates must have prior experience in data warehouse design
and construction. Preference given to qualified candidates familiar with
State of Wisconsin application systems, procedures and development
standards. Preference will also be given to candidates with experience with
insurance and accounting data and data warehouses.

*Position - QA Engineer, Automation Tester***
*Location -Chicago, IL***
*Duration -6 Months***

Candidates must have experience with test automation on Windows platforms,
some Linux experience is desirable.
QA Engineer with development background.
This position will work closely and collaboratively with Development
Engineering during all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Candidates should have experience with Operating Systems and distributed
applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Designs quality assurance and test processes for end-user
applications/system software running on-site and in the Cloud.
Analyzes requirements/designs and determines test scripts, coding,
automation, and integration activities required based on general objectives
and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.
Writes and executes complete test plans and documentation for assigned
portion of application; identifies and debugs product issues.
Leads QA efforts for software projects to develop reliable and
cost-effective solutions.
Collaborates and communicates with team and management regarding test
status, project progress, and issue resolution.
Represents the software quality assurance team for all phases of larger and
more-complex development projects.
Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.
Designs and builds test environments and data sets.
Knowledge and Skills requirements:
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Major programming language experience (Java, C, C++, C#, etc.).
Experience with VB and scripting languages (Perl, batch, shell, etc.).
Broad Operating System and networking knowledge.
Understanding of SQL/relational database concepts.
Experience using software quality assurance tools and processes.
Experience with Windows and UNIX/Linux environments.
Ability to handle multiple assignments with deadlines.
Knowledge of software testing methodology, including test plan development
and execution.
Experience with multiple-platform software products.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively communicate product requirements/features, designs,
issues, plans and propose options at management levels.
