*Location* : *Boca Raton/FL(** **GC/ USC and EAD-GC ONLY) Duration:* *6+Months * * **Interview Mode: Telephonic Then **Skype*** * * *Description: * * * The successful candidate will be functioning as a SharePoint/.NET Developer and will be involved in the architecture, design, development and implementation of solutions. This position will work alongside other SharePoint engineers and technical team members, to design, build, support, and enhance internal and external facing SharePoint collaboration and web publishing solutions. The right individual will have strong technical knowledge of SharePoint 2010 architecture, engineering, and administration. This role requires excellent communication skills with a focus on collaboration as well as the ability to work closely with the team. The candidate should also have strong initiative, solid judgment capabilities, and a desire to continually grow their technical knowledge around SharePoint. *ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:* • Expertise in both SharePoint 2007 and 2010 • Experience building Web Parts in .Net framework for SharePoint • Experience with SharePoint designer for site development • Experience with Windows SharePoint Web Services • Good knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services and Integration Services (SSRS and SSIS) • Knowledge of advanced features such as Custom Workflows, InfoPath/Forms Services and Excel Services • Experience developing both extranet and intranet sites • Advanced knowledge on Microsoft Office, especially as they are required for integration with SharePoint • Knowledge of Team Foundation Server for source control • Knowledge of Test Driven development, User Story and QA validations • Ability to understand and develop technical design and project estimates from business requirements document • Engage with business users to elicit requirements and document requirements as needed. Maintain a good working relationship with business users and peers • Responsible for taking a project through the entire lifecycle from inception to production while performing all controlling activities. • Identifies and manages dependencies and downstream impacts communicates any risks or issues associated with the development activities *REQUIREMENTS:* • Three (3) plus years of experience in designing and developing enterprise-wide application using MS SharePoint (SharePoint 2007/2010). • Five (5) plus years of experience in application development. • Experience with taxonomy planning (Web applications, site collections, document libraries, content type, site columns, and search). • Experience in developing custom Web parts and/or Web applications (HTML, ASP.NET, CSS, XML, JavaScript) and development of solution packages. • Experience in applying software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, configuration, development, and unit testing using Microsoft technologies. • Knowledge of Active Directory, AD security, TCP/IP, DNS, Load balancer, Firewall, and SMTP. • Strong analytic, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills. • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements and processes into effective SharePoint solutions. • Excellent team player with ability to work with multiple vendors and internal departments. • Outstanding customer service skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
