(Face to Face) Location : Bothell, WA Duration : 1 Year 7 Months contract. *Job Description: Role and responsibilities:* - Assesses and/or formulating strategic and/or tactical plans based on company business initiatives. - Manages large and important projects affecting business units across the company - Prepare detail plans, detail schedules, resource allocation and assignment, critical path analysis, methodology, coordination within all IT functions, and conducting budget analyses - May be involved in user requirement definition, recommending business solutions/alternatives, assisting in RFP development and evaluations, and assisting clients in defining new services that ride on new technologies. - May also be responsible for analysis of existing business processes, design and implementation of streamlined processes and leading client organizations in the identification, planning and implementation of business process solutions. - Works as a liaison to clients and other IT organizations as a subject matter expert on the business processes they represent. - May coordinate, evaluate and partner with technology vendors and outside consultants as needed *Education:* - Preferred Bachelor of Science degree in Business or equivalent experience. - Looking for technical, detail-oriented Business Analyst to support releases on web-based platforms. - This role includes ensuring that the project requirements always make sound business sense, support cross-functional teams, and make decisions or recommendations at key points in the project life cycle. *Responsibilities:* - Gather, interpret and analyze business requirements from multiple stakeholders and teams. - Develop and gain cross-functional alignment on detailed functional requirements based off the business requirements - Create user flow, and call flow/web sequence diagrams to support business workflows. - Clearly communicate the business and system requirements to the development team - Work with designers and stakeholders to finalize wireframes and comps to hand over to Development and Test teams - Validate test cases to ensure compliance with and coverage of both business and functional requirements - Provide support to triage defects - Validate the detailed functional requirements when environment is ready to test. - Collaborates with Product Manager, Architect and Project Manager to assist in making global decisions for the project in a timely manner. - Monitor progress regularly by actively leading or participating in project status meetings with Project Manager and Key Stakeholders. *Qualifications (REQUIRED):* - Four or more years of business analysis experience - 3 or more years focused on end customer-facing websites - 3 or more years defining requirements for internal web-based tools - Familiarity with Web User-Interface usability and design - Hands-on working in a software development team and project - Proficient at understanding cross-platform web service interfaces and dependencies. - Experience working with information technology and functional groups within an organization. - Experience working with business processes. - Experience working with both waterfall and agile software development methodologies. - Organization skills, appropriate prioritization, and attention to detail is required.
