*Please send me your resumes at **[email protected]*<[email protected]> * or call me at 484-725-6002** **for further details* * * *Requirements Details:* * * *Title : UNIX/Linux Engineer* *Location: Sacramento, CA* *Duration : 12 months* * * *Job Description :* *Mandatory Qualifications:* · At least seven (7) years of experience planning and architecting complex systems running Red Hat, Linux 4.x, 5.x, and 6.x including virtualization, storage, networking, backup and system security; · At least seven (7) years of experience designing Red Hat Linux platforms for high availability in largescale environments; · At least seven (7) years of experience implementing and supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server (RHELS) version 4, 5, and 6; · At least seven (7) years of experience installing, configuring and managing RHELS on a variety of virtualization technologies (e.g. VMWare, PowerVM, etc.); · At least seven (7) years of experience supporting and maintaining RHELS production environments for mission critical applications; · Experience analyzing, troubleshooting, and optimizing Red Hat Linux servers and file systems; · Experience planning, implementing, and performing backup, recovery, testing, archiving, and logging for Red Hat Linux servers using NetBackup; and · Experience producing requirements document, system architecture, server configuration, system connectivity, and procedural manuals. *Desirable Qualifications:* · Possession of Red Hat Linux System Administration Certifications. · Experience with server fundamentals including kernel subsystems (e.g. scheduler, VM, etc.), system calls, inter-process communication, process/resource management, and file systems. · Experience with TCP/IP and OSI model, firewalls, load balancers and networking switches. · Experience with network attached storage devices and RAID.
