Position:OBI EE ETL Specialist Location:Orlando FL Duration:6+ months Description: Responsible for gathering and assessing business information needs and preparing system requirements. Performs analyses, development and evaluation of data mining in a data warehouse environment which includes data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation. Uses data mining and data analysis tools. Reviews and validates data loaded into the data warehouse for accuracy. Interacts with user community to produce reporting requirements. Provides technical consulting to users of the various data warehouses and advises users on conflicts and inappropriate data usage. Responsible for prototyping solutions, preparing test scripts, and conducting tests and for data replication, extraction, loading, cleansing, and data modeling for data warehouses. Maintains knowledge of software tools, languages, scripts, and shells that effectively support the data warehouse environment in different operating system environments. Possesses working knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and data warehouse front-end tools. Must have an extensive knowledge of data warehouse and data mart concepts. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Typically has 5 to 7 years of IT work experience in business intelligence tools and systems. HERE IS WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: OBI ETL Specialist SSIS * Understanding of business processes that include transactional processing, Strategic planning & reporting * Understanding of Processes for workflow and related cycle time metrics. * Enhancements & Handling the bug fix requests includes one or more of below activities: * Debugging and tracing back the existing Informatica mappings and workflows. * Implementation and testing of Informatica and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) changes - ***Must Have *** * Creating new workflows and mappings to fulfill a new requirement/CR. * Database changes and addition of new objects as well maintaining indexes. * Resolving OBI bugs involving basic OBI activities like Administrator changes. * Experience of HR Analytics & Procurement & Spend, Supplier Performance delivered BI Apps * Ability to design the data model for warehouse, create mappings for standardizing data for different data sources both structured & unstructured. * Supporting the dashboard requests for A&F Reporting project (Custom built BI App). * Analysis and performance tuning of long running jobs. * Training end users and Assisting the users in UAT. * Act as a single point of contact for implementations. * Perform proof of concept for new initiatives. * Software Quality management skill set, to design/draft/document comprehensive test cases * Ability to perform root cause analysis and Incident management * Knowledge of Data Protection rules PII / PCI Requirements: * Minimum of 4 years’ experience as an OBI EE ETL Specialist. * Informatica, SSIS, DAC, Toad for Oracle, OBI EE Server, Analytical Skills * System administration experience * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong training skills and documentation skills * Team player – ability to work in a team environment * Problem Solving - ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems * Exposure to PeopleSoft HRMS, A&F Systems * MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) * Customer Orientation * Quality / Info Security / Data Protection Orientation * Knowledge of multinational organization functioning ---------------------------------------------- Regards, Danie Hoffman | Staffing Manager | |[email protected] | Consulting Knights, Inc. | Direct: 609-423-4616 | Fax: (609) 228-5321 | www.consultingknights.com | This email message, including any attachments, is for the sole use of the intended recipient(s) and may contain confidential and privileged information.
