*Application Support DR – Reporting and Collaboration Tools *

*Position Overview*
The Infrastructure Operations/Tools Support organization, is seeking an
Application Support professional to provide transitional support for
disaster recovery infrastructure on a variety of tools in the reporting and
collaboration space. The hired candidate will work alongside our operations
support and disaster recovery project teams to ensure a consistent end user
experience in a fast paced, high availability environment
*Responsibilities Include*

   - Functions as a focal point between enterprise tools and disaster
   recovery for tools related to business intelligence including MicroStrategy
   9.3, SQL Server Reporting Services 2008 (SSRS), Confluence Wiki (Wiki) and
   Sharepoint 2010
   - Occasional engagement with project managers, end users, business
   analysts, and IT partners by blending technical knowledge with business
   best practices
   - Provide efficient and effective resolution to internal/external client
   created cases as needed for all of the tools indicated.
   - Diagnose problems within commercial (COTS) and/or proprietary
   enterprise platforms
   - Assist in the release and deployment of product updates
   - Participates in a rotating evening/weekend shift

*Basic Requirements*

   - Typically has 5+ years related experience
   - College degree or equivalent experience
   - Must have tool upgrade experience
   - Must have enterprise application support experience
   - Excellent Diagnostic and Problem Solving Skills
   - Experience working in Unix/Linux and Windows environments
   - Experience remotely diagnosing networked computer systems.
   - Able to work in a team-focused, fast-paced environment
   - Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills
   - Demonstrated programming skills (Java, shell) in Unix and Windows
   environments
   - Excellent oral, written communication skills
   - Excellent customer interaction skills is a must
   - Available for weekend and evening support as required

*Preferred Skills*

   - Basic networking skills, an understanding of firewalls and network
   infrastructures a plus.
   - Ability to engage with project managers, architecture engineers,
   database administrators, information security teams a plus
   - 2+ year experience querying and using relational databases
   - 4+ years serving as a tool administrator (e.g.MicroStrategy 9.x, SSRS
   2005/2008, Wiki, Sharepoint)

1+ years working in an IT operational support organization
