Test Engineer with Financial exp Duration: 6 months Location: NYC *Responsibilities* · Responsible for development of test strategies and creation of appropriate test harnesses · Plan, design, and implement manual and automated functional, stress, and scenario/integration tests · Design and develop test scripts for functional testing to effectively test changes and analyze results as compared to business requirements · Writing moderately complex code and scripts to test systems · Communicate and manage status/issues with stakeholders · Participating in and helping evolve our Agile SDLC process · Partnering closely with our Software Engineering, Product Management and DevOps teams to cost, plan and deliver high quality features · Operating in a low ego, collaborative environment *Relevant Skills* · Deep knowledge of various test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging · Highly proficient in UNIX/Linux and Windows environments · Experience developing test automation in C++/Java/C#/Python/Ruby · Ability to build test plans from informal specifications given by developers or product managers · Knowledge of the FIX protocol and experience with financial client/exchange simulator tools (e.g. Aegis, Greenline) are preferred but not required · Experience with various testing and automation tools (e.g. QTP, WinRunner, Selenium, Cucumber) is strongly preferred · Financial services knowledge is not required, but a strong engineering mindset and razor-sharp problem solving skills are a must · Strong communication and organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously and synthesize results · Creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness for the entire team Kavita Allen direct 781.330.0086 office 781.352.7353 email kav...@tamvid.net Follow my open jobs @ http://www.tamvid.com/jobs -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
