Role: SR PHP Developer Location: Salt lake city, UT Duration: 6 months C/CTH Responsibilities: * Assist in developing architecturally sound, modular, component-driven applications. * Demonstrate leadership capabilities by providing direction to and mentoring for less experienced members of the development team. * Provide project leaders with timely and accurate status of the development tasks. * Develop analysis-level documents that reflect the requirements. * Maintain system and design documentation, and prepare materials for project reviews. * Extensive knowledge of PHP, MYSQL, Linux, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, XML * Strong experience using LAMP architecture * Working Knowledge on Linux and Managing CRON Jobs * Deep understanding of and experience in Object-oriented design (OOD) * Working knowledge of AJAX * Good command of JavaScript and JavaScript-based tools and components (jQuery in particular) * Must be familiar with MVC model and templating engines such as Smarty * Extensive experience with creating and consuming web services * Experience with a wide range of web development technologies and frameworks * Experience working with test driven development * Extensive experience using Git - Mandatory * Experience with other scripting and programming languages (Pearl & Shell) Qualifications: * B.S.
