You must enjoy a close-knit team environment of shared responsibility. *This position, while based in the US, requires travel to various South American countries.* *Key skills required for this position include, * · Strong knowledge in IP internetworking - IP routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS) · Good understanding of Access/ Core network design / implementation on Service Provider network · Deep exposure to Cisco data center products such as Nexus 7K/5K/2K, CRS-1, 7600, 6500, IOS software. · Must have good knowledge of LAN switching protocols, Global load balancer and Security components such as Cisco ASA Firewalls, · Good understanding of network testing concepts with exposure to test heads tools automation & simulators such as Spirent, IXIA, Anue etc · Bachelors or equivalent with 5 years experience in networking industry. · Cisco certifications highly preferred. · *Fluency in Spanish and Portuguese also highly preferred.* *Specific duties include, but are not limited to:* · *Design and validate the next generation LAN and WAN video network architecture for high performance, availability and redundancy.* · *Work with various system vendors on evaluating new systems and solutions as part of next generation video distribution architectures and provide recommendations.
