Send me profiles : ar...@vedicsoft.com *JOB TITLE : SENIOR WINDOWS INFRASTRUCTURE ADMINISTRATOR* *Position Type : 6+months* *Location : San Francisco, CA* *Description* *ABOUT THE ROLE:* We are looking for a looking for a Senior Windows Infrastructure Administrator who has the ability to support, troubleshoot and resolve issues within a global infrastructure. *TEAM:* *Client's TechOps team plans, builds, operates and scales the infrastructure that supports 24x7 operation of our games*. They're looking for individuals who are excited about Technology and eager to learn how games are built to scale. Our Infrastructure Team is responsible for owning and improving the corporate infrastructure within Client's. *WHAT YOU'LL DO:* · Maintain and deploy Windows systems, DNS, Active Directory, and other core infrastructure components in an enterprise environment. · Analyze inefficiencies in the enterprise from a holistic view. · Diagnose and delegate problems as they arise with little supervision. · Collaborate across teams on detailed technical requirements, implementation approaches and problem solving. · Ability to independently analyze problems, research potential technical solutions, evaluate alternatives, and present recommendations to the leadership team. · Assist in developing a roadmap for the production environment. · Mentor fellow team members in areas of expertise. · Create documentation detailing procedures and controls. · Implement and troubleshoot enterprise server architecture. · Solve problems using advanced technologies and server scaling techniques. · Work to create process and procedures around technology. · Automate tasks via scripting and automation tools. · Manage re-occurring problems through ITIL processes. · Implement and support next generation server, storage, and network hardware to match company growth. · Support and maintain communication and project workflow between engineering groups and operational groups. · Maintain and update documentation on all production systems. · Maintain and build positive customer, partner, and peer relationships. *WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:* · *5+ years of SENIOR LEVEL EXPERIENCE administering enterprise class environments.* · *Experience in maintenance and monitoring of highly available and scalable system infrastructure*. · Detailed knowledge of Windows 2003/2008 operating systems including advanced troubleshooting. · *Experience with monitoring applications (Solarwinds, etc...) and Enterprise Anti-Virus (TrendMicro Enterprise, etc...).* · Senior level proficiencies administering and implementation VMware ESX. · *Experience with Dell server and SAN platforms including iSCSI.* · Strong Windows troubleshooting and administration skills. · Working knowledge of advanced network topologies and network infrastructure such as load balancers, firewalls, DMZ zoning, and network segregation. · Working knowledge of integrating Windows systems on a Storage Area Network (SAN). · Proven ability to successfully navigate and perform in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment, and effectively multi-task multiple priorities in a team-oriented setting. · Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently on projects and cooperatively with the rest of the team. · Desire to continue to develop skills with self-study and by attending vendor training/ conferences as well as company provided courses. · *Experience with Design/Planning software such as Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project.* · Availability to support a 24/7 operation is required. · Minimum travel will be required. *NICE TO HAVE:* · *Microsoft Certifications (Server\Desktop).* · *MAC Server\Desktop experience in an enterprise environment.* · *ITIL Certification.* Best Regards, *Arjun Kanakoti * *VEDICSOFT* | *Business Intelligence.
