*Sharepoint Developer Alexandria, VA6+months contract* *Job Description & Required Skills:* *Expert knowledge of software development processes and best practices utilizing SharePoint and the Microsoft technology stack. *Must possess a deep technical and architectural understanding of all aspects of Microsoft SharePoint platform solutions 2010(Preferred) 2007(Will work if the other aspects are excellent). *Must have hands-on experience and capabilities for developing and deploying customized SharePoint solutions. *Advanced knowledge of Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Social Networking, Enterprise Content Management and/or Business Process and Forms. *Experience in Nintex 2007 \ 2010 workflows, MOSS 2007 custom workflows & SharePoint designer workflows (Nice to have) *.NET Framework / Visual Studio 2010 / C# / Experience with the SharePoint object model & SharePoint Client object model. *Web development experience using ASP.NET Web Forms and/or ASP.NET MVC. *Must have strong knowledge in Html, CSS, JavaScript, XML, XSLT , Data view webpart, custom webpart, visual webpart, event receivers, PowerShell scripts *Working experience with web services using XML technologies (XSD, Xpath, XMLDom, etc) *Strong understanding of Object Oriented design and implementation using the .NET Framework, C#, WCF *Experience configuring and working with Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) *Extensive experience in Site branding *Ability to develop rapid prototypes and proof of concepts for evaluation. *Strong understanding and experience in implementing QA procedures (code review, estimating, acceptance criteria, etc.) as they relate to SharePoint solutions.
