ETF seeks an application database administrator with strong Oracle
experience. DB2 experience is also desired. ETF is at the very beginning of
a four year project to replace all our pension and insurance administration
line-of-business systems with a purchased system from Vitech. Vitech's V3
application is a fully integrated, highly configurable system.
This position will work closely with the Vitech staff and ETF DBAs and
programmers to implement V3, create data bridges, perform data conversion,
and develop a data analytics / data warehousing system. Vitech will be
responsible for the installation and configuration of the Oracle software -
we do not plan to have ETF DBAs involved in system database work, rather
focused on application database tasks.
