A Python/Django developer is responsible for making additions and changes
to existing applications to support changing business requirements.  A
technical background and an understanding of programming languages and
patterns is necessary.  You will need to work in a collaborative team with
other developers, QA, and project managers.  Existing experience with
Python and Django development in team environments is a requirement.  You
will also be responsible for working with and aiding other developers on
related tasks.

Responsibilities

·         Extend Django applications by

·         Customizing administration

·         Creating Django management commands

·         Debug, create, and extend python code as requested

·         Work with project manager to complete tasks on time

·         Work with project manager to estimate and classify tasks

·         Understand relevant business environment

·         Work with Quality Assurance team members to help them verify the
change or addition works as expected

·         Have an ability to understand complex environments involving many
dependencies and understanding how changes to any one piece may affect
others

·         Maintain, create and extend automated test suites

·         Strong Python Development Skills

·         Good SQL knowledge

·         Good communication skills

·         Creating custom security providers

·         Supporting and extending REST endpoints for AngularJS to consume.

·         Work with project management system to log work and task status

Required Skills

·         Technical writing

·         Django framework familiarity

·         JUnit

·         HTML/CSS

·         Source Control Management (Subversion and GIT)
