Job Title: Sterling Performance Engineer Location: San Bruuno, CA Experience Level/Designation: 5+Years Duration: LongTerm No: of positions: 3 Sterling Performance Engineering Skills: • Experienced in the setup of the Sterling OMS product with focus on best practices to optimize performance of the product • Expertise in technical and functional areas of the product with focus on performance optimization on a highly customized installation of Sterling OMS. o Technical areas should include: setup of application server instances, setup of agents used in the implementation, database optimization for core product, integration patterns used by Sterling. All of these with focus on tuning the product to obtain the highest performance out of the current implementation. o Functional areas should include: expertise in customization of product functionality leveraging user exits, expertise in overriding OMS out of the box components, Expertise in these Sterling Modules: Sterling Distributed Order Management, Sterling Selling & Fulfillment Foundation, Sterling Global Inventory Visibility, Sterling Reverse Logistics. • Experience in Sterling OMS integration with ecommerce sites. • Experience in working with a remote development team. • Work independently with minimal direction Responsibilities include: • Utilize functional and technical expertise to execute analysis of the current Sterling implementation. • Utilize analysis to provide performance improvement recommendations. • Help define and/or advise on Sterling OMS technical architecture to meet performance requirements for the Sterling OMS • Design, develop, and implement highest-quality performance improvements solutions using Sterling OMS modules to improve performance of the Sterling OMS product • Provide functional and/or technical leadership to extended project teams – Wal-Mart employees and consultants • Help define and/or assist with developing Sterling OMS implementation best practices • Lead and/or guide teams to execute optimum performance tests and tuning to meet SLA objectives • Help define integration and performance test scripts to measure improvements as changes are implemented. • Help analyze, troubleshoot and tune Sterling Commerce product performance or deployment issues • Participate in agile scrum project ceremonies and provide application support coordination on issues & design planning • Assist with risk management. • Help develop and propose Sterling OMS-centric processes, policies, and standards as it pertains to optimization and performance. • Work with offshore Sterling team to coordinate delivery of development, proof of concepts and research tasks as needed. • Recommend and Implement monitoring scripts to measure the performance of services and APIs and determine hotspots in the Sterling customizations. • Document and review performance improvement recommendations/solutions with the team. *Thanks and Regards,* Siddhartha Shankar Das (Sidd) Technical Recruiter - Talent Management Group ll IT-SCIENT ll Phone: 510.972.5226|| Fax: 877.701.4872 || Email Id: s...@itscient.com || Web: www.itscient.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
