Title: Oracle Architect posted on 2014-03-11 09:29:38 Job Description:*Title : Oracle Architect* *Location : Alpharetta, GA* *Duration : 6+ Months* *Required Skills/Responsibilities* The first part of this is agreeing on the functional architecture which is not really Oracle specific unless Oracle has invented a capability that nobody else has ever seen before. This would play out as follows (list is not inclusive): · Finance data dictionary and source mappings · All transactional data that is used by finance captured with integrity and controls · Operational data store with detail · Financial data store fed from operational data store · Set of tools that act on this data - reconciliation engine, journalization engine, allocation engine, top side adjustor, currency converter, FP&A database as planning tool, actuarial database and modeling tools, etc. · Reporting engine, report optimization, etc. · End to end audit and traceability · Onboarding protocol, processes and accelerators for new businesses and products & late adjustment tool Equally important is the process, organizational architecture which must be tied to the technology enhancements and delivery. · Global AP · Global A/R · Global reporting · Localized activities Where we need Oracle specific expertise is in: · Understanding the difficulty, effort and timeline for implementation so we can 1) have an accurate roadmap, 2) make sure we catch all technical and operational dependencies and don't have contradictions and rework in our recommendation, to 3) be able to suggest whether a project (e.g. automating policy level expense allocation) is worth doing · Understanding functional nuances for a particular tool or accelerator that is specific to Oracle and would have an impact on the deliverables or benefit. · Using the right visuals and labeling if we provide an architecture diagram Salary: 65 *Click here to view full job description and apply <http://www.ejobsville.com/display-job/124352> (Registration not mandatory to apply for this job)* ------------------------------ Best regards, eJobsVille.com - For The Best Tech Jobs In Town -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
