Other duties and special projects may be assigned. * * Maintain current enterprise systems and extend functionality by new development and extending to external systems and services. * Provide tier 2 and 3 support for existing systems and services. * Design and code superior technical programming solutions by writing new code and maintaining existing code according to specifications; creating efficient and logical databases; creating development system documents and records; and conducting code reviews and ensuring that quality solutions are built and tested. * Understand/apply reusable code design practices, leverage application architecture/framework capabilities and functionality, and design/develop solutions that are highly reliable, scalable, and perform to meet business-defined service levels. * Actively participate in small, experienced teams with shared responsibilities by mentoring, sharing best practices, and exchanging knowledge. * Ensure efforts are aligned with the overall strategic direction of the department and organization.
