*Qualifications*:
The J2EE developer is responsible for developing, testing, implementing,
debugging, and supporting computer software that resides and is executed in
a J2EE environment. Typically possesses several years of experience in the
function and is knowledgeable in all aspects of the work.
Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of particular field of
specialization to the completion of difficult assignments.
J2EE developer plans, conducts and supervises assignments, generally
involving larger and more complex projects or more than one project.
He/she coordinates day-to-day operations of a group of employees (typically
four or more individuals); leads, assigns, and monitors work progress.
Reviews progress and evaluates results.
Schedules and may supervise project work.
He/she may act in liaison capacity with other departments, divisions, and
organizations. Evaluates progress and results and recommends major changes
in procedures. Provides input to the review and evaluation of personnel
performance.
This position includes both development and support responsibilities so the
ability to handle multiple tasks with a high degree of flexibility and
adaptability is critical.
