*Job description for VMAX & VNX:* L3 VMAX & VNX Storage Should have around 7+ years of experience and proficiency in managing and maintaining EMC enterprise storage systems and will be responsible for: - In depth understanding of the EMC management tools like Unisphere, IONIX, Symmcli Managing SAN storages viz. EMC VMAX, VNX using EMC Unisphere Experience of SAN allocation,deallocation using symmcli and UniSphere Unified storage management for thin provisioning/thin pools, data de-duplication and RAID levels Configuration & management of FAST VP, FAST Storage Tiering Dynamic LUN Provisioning Allocating Boot luns in Vmware environment Troubleshooting EMC Grub, host agent and Powerpath related issues. Zoning, multipathing using powerpath, storage firmware upgrades Backup and restoration of ACLX and VCMDB. Allocating LUNs to different operating systems like MS Windows, VMWare ESX/ESXi, Linux and Solaris/AIX Exposure to performance tuning techniques for SAN and NAS Experience in cross storage migration projects like XIV to VNX or VMAX. Experience in SRDF, Open replicator for replication purpose between two or three sites. Experience in SAN storage backup and recovery and exposure to SAN Data replication tools like SAN Copy and SnapMirror Capacity planning, Firmware upgrades and Fine tune of storage system for optimal performance using EMC Unisphere.
