*Title: Senior Essbase Developer BIFS Hyperion - Phone HireContract Duration: 6+ momnthsLocation: Charlestown, Massachusetts* Minimum Requirements: As an overview the contractor will have the following skills: Has 3-5 years developing and administering Oracle Business Intelligence Foundation Suite (BIFS) which includes Hyperion Essbase, Web Analysis, Reporting, and Studio. Has managed projects and/or has been a project leader for BIFS or Hyperion Essbase (I will provide more details in the job description with respect to tools). Excels in trouble-shooting issues Proactive Takes ownership of code and outcome of code. Can independently manage projects and related tasks, and meet deadlines Can appropriately prioritize tasks. Additional notes are below: Technical Skills/Knowledge Strong knowledge of Calc scripts, Partitioning, Database design/optimization, Esscmds/Maxl statements, SQL, Load Rules, ASO, MDX, Report Scripts, Shared Services, and Security. Systems proficiency in Oracle Essbase and all other components of BIFS, as well Microsoft Excel. Well developed problem-solving capabilities and strong organizational skills Preferred experience in Oracle Web Analysis, Oracle Reports, Studio, and Visual Basic Knowledge of system implementation and data conversion a plus Ability to understand end user needs and to design and develop solutions to meet those needs; customer focused with problem solving abilities Has managed projects and/or has been a project leader for BIFS or Hyperion Essbase Excels in trouble-shooting issues Takes ownership of code and outcome of code. Can independently manage projects and related tasks, and meet deadlines Can appropriately prioritize tasks.
