*Position Overview:*

The IT Project Manager (PM) works with all parts of the client
organizations, supporting the Global Sustainable Procurement and Global
Business Services *Procure-to-Pay (P2P)* organizations to deliver IT
capabilities enabling P2P processes. The PM works with *Business Subject
Matter Experts* (SMEs) as well as Global and Regional IT leads to deliver
on initiatives that are part of the strategy. The PM is responsible for
rolling cost estimates, critical path activities, phase-based milestones,
and resource requirements for the successful completion of each project.
The PM will have accountability for preparing and maintaining project and
quality plans and tracking activities against a milestone based plan,
providing regular and accurate reports as appropriate. The Project Manager
monitors costs, milestones and resources used, and takes action where these
deviate from agreed tolerances. The PM gains agreement for revisions to the
project from project stakeholders and provides effective leadership to the
project team ensuring that team members are motivated and developing their
skills and experience. Function Specific Activities: * Project Management:
Ability to use appropriate tools and techniques to plan secure resources
for, manage, assist and ensure the progress and ultimate completion of
designated projects; effectively manage time and resources to ensure that
work is completed efficiently. * Develop and communicate project charters
for initiatives with clarity of scope and expected outcomes. * Lead an
effort to create a project or an initiative plan (includes tasks,
resources, and timeframes) by gaining input from appropriate parties and
obtaining management sign-off and commitment. * Develop plans for a work or
task assignment to ensure effective completion against overall project or
business plan. * Manage a project team against a work plan. * Monitor work
against business plan and take action to resolve variances.
