*Position : Lead Quality Assurance Engineer* *Duration : 9 month Project* *Location : NE Portland Oregon* *Overview* The following Lead Quality Assurance Engineer resource is required to support EIM activities to perform test planning, test script development and test execution, and tracking of overall project testing. The work to be performed by this resource is part of the EIM delivery project. *Responsibilities* - The contractor will work with the EIM team to develop the test plans, develop test scripts, perform test script execution, and to handle defect management. - Review, design, develop, modify, and evaluate systems, process, or facilities to support Company objectives, utilizing engineering methods. - Determine methods and techniques for obtaining the goals of the project as they relate to quality assurance. - Recommend alternative engineering solutions to management to meet business needs. - Deliver on commitments and manage quality assurance services to accomplish the assigned work. - Maintain project timeliness and budgets. * Requirements* - A minimum of five (5) years of experience with software quality assurance and a Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science or a related field. - Must work closely with technical and subject matter experts to gain an understanding of requirements / design and provide input from a quality perspective. - Minimum of three (3) years' experience working with Hewlett Packard Quality Center. - Must use analytical thinking and information gathering skills to analyze requirements and technical design to determine appropriate test strategies. - Must have the ability to write formal test plans that include a testing approach and detailed test cases that are clear and reusable. - Perform test execution and capture results for system, functional, regression, load, and integration testing. - Perform defect management for logging defects, tracking defect status, and collaborating with the software development staff to assist in reproduction and resolution of defects through closure. - Work with subject matter experts to assist with UAT and post implementation verification. - Ensures reliability, performance, and functionality of assigned features and ensures that functionality meets or exceeds business goals. - Report status and communicate risks to stakeholders in order to raise quality awareness. - Stays up to date with current Quality Assurance best practices and brings in outside knowledge to share with the team. - Ability to work as a team member to maintain project timelines, budgets, and deliver on commitments. - *Thanks & Regards ,* *Kumar Gaurav |Technical Recruiter* *Email:[email protected] <email%[email protected]> | Phone:609.681.2603* *www.linkedin.com/pub/kumargaurav/60/659/299/ <http://www.linkedin.com/pub/kumargaurav/60/659/299/> * *KPG99 Inc.* *3240 E STATE ST EXT * *Hamilton, NJ 08619* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
