Operational Reporting Analyst Overview:
Develop reporting that meets the information needs of the organization.
Work with the business areas to identify and implement opportunities for
process improvement that impact performance, quality, and/or profit through
the delivery of business intelligence, analysis and/or reporting.  Assist
in the verification of data utilized by the organization for delivering
business intelligence.

Operational Reporting Analyst  Job Responsibilities:
Develop routine operational/analytical reports as needed.
Conduct examination and explanation of complex data relationships that
answer questions identified either within the department or by other
departments.
Generate graphics that effectively describe, explore and summarize analysis
for communication to appropriate parties.
Incorporate critical thinking skills and judgment in the process to
determine best course of action for each inquiry/problem.
Investigation of data that shows a pattern or indicates a significant
variation from expected.
Perform any other job related instructions as requested, with reasonable
accommodation.

Operational Reporting Analyst  Job Requirements:
Microsoft SQL Server Reporting services.
*SAS, or MicroStrategy reporting*
*Healthcare*
SQL query language
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Training in statistical process control methodology preferred
5+ years' experience in data analysis and/or analysis programming preferred
Healthcare delivery and/or payer experience required
Proven understanding of database relationships required
Exceptional programming, Excel, and/or Access skills required
SAS/Macro experience required
Graphic development/presentation skills preferred
Advanced computer skills
Statistical skills preferred
Sequel server reporting services (SSRS) preferred

Bonus Skills:
Critical listening and thinking skills
Decision making/problem solving skills
Communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Knowledge of managed care preferred
Knowledge of healthcare data coding such as CPT-4, HCPCS, ICD-9, DRG and
Revenue Codes preferred
