Experience on Migration of applications from legacy hardware to new hardware, re-platforming from one Operating System to another * *Doing Proof of Concept for any new middleware technology/Products.* *Performance fine-tuning and Patch Management, Sizing & Publishing new websites on production servers as per client requirement, Troubleshooting & resolving the escalated issues by analyzing logs & thread dumps and coordinating with respective vendors, Very good understanding and working experience in UNIX (Solaris/IBM AIX/HP-UX/etc...), Linux and Windows operating systems.* *Mentoring, talent management and recruitment, knowledge management. Helping to Manage Knowledge Base, Knowledge Sharing & Documentation for quick references Recommend technical/process changes to system management.* *Middleware technologies architecture design & Solution, effort estimation* *Solution Definition - Design of service delivery components, Solution evaluation and recommendation.* *Solution Deployment - Design detailing of Middleware technologies components, product evaluation & recommendation, deployment & implementation of infrastructure components, training & change management,* *Support & Maintenance - Knowledge transfer & System appreciation for Middleware Technology platforms.* *Skills Working experience on WAS 7.0, WebLogic & JBOSS platform/platform version upgrade and/or migration. Able to design the upgrade/migration strategy & path between the application servers, especially from WAS to JBOSS and WebLogic to JBOSS. Sound knowledge on IBM WebSphere Application Server, JBOSS and WebLogic Architecture. Excellent WebSphere Application Server, JBOSS and WebLogic administration skills. Sound J2EE knowledge. Installation and deployment of J2EE applications with Application Assembly knowledge (WebSphere, JBOSS & WebLogic). Connecting to back-end resources (WebSphere, JBOSS & WebLogic). Using scripts for automating day to day tasks (WebSphere, JBOSS, IBM HTTP Server & WebLogic). Maintenance, gathering the data for performance tuning and implement the performance tuning (WebSphere, JBOSS, IBM HTTP Server & WebLogic)* *Good knowledge and working experience on WebSphere, JBOSS and WebLogic security. Workload management, Scalability, Clustering and failover techniques (WebSphere, JBOSS, IBM HTTP Server & WebLogic) troubleshooting and problem determination skills (WebSphere, JBOSS, IBM HTTP Server & WebLogic)product installation and configuration (WebSphere, JBOSS, IBM HTTP Server & WebLogic)Good understanding of operating systems like UNIX, Linux and Windows Server.
