This will include technical, administrative, process and other miscellaneous activities. The position will support general data center activities. Analyze and report historical trends of IT equipment performance to avoid service interruptions. Produce reports on a regular basis to internal users and clients. Install data center equipment in the data center. This will include servers, switches, routers, and other IT equipment. (20%). Schedule and monitor batch jobs using supplied software products. Interpret client job requirements and develop schedules using job and time dependencies. Analyze job failures, develop scheduling solutions, and ensure the jobs are completed to client specifications. Escalate to technical specialists and follow-up until the problem is resolved.
