Job Description :
Function as the Lead Programmer Analyst to work on the enterprise scale
applications focusing on Front End/Back End design and development.
Consider security and performance while designing and developing business
critical solutions. Responsible for the development and delivery of
software on time and budget. Continuously develop & test best practices &
standards for software development and create project specific
documentation as required by ISO, SDLC and Agile methodology procedures.
- At least 5 years of working with SQL 2005/2008, ASP.NET<http://asp.net/>,
.NET C#, Web Services
- Experience in developing SQL scripts and stored procedures in MS SQL
SERVER 2005/2008
- Writing technical design documents and follow the software development
life cycle and coding standard
- Supporting the business groups by resolving issues and providing
guidance and feedback to the uses
- Performing the role of a Senior Developer based on Agile methodologies
- Implementing solutions considering accuracy, efficiency, performance,
security and reusability
- Designing the technical solution, effort estimates and costs for
internal and external systems integration needs based on business
requirements
- Supporting QA/UAT support and defect resolution
- Deployment coordination, including seeking Change Management approvals
and build management
- Responding to support tickets and resolve issues based on the urgency
and the importance of the issue
- Handling business and user inquires about data and processes
- Ability to understand and meet business needs which drive technical
requirements
- Experience working with diverse technical teams
- Experience in working with high volume data load is a plus
- Good understanding of software development life cycle and coding
standards
- Experience in creating requirements, analysis, design and deployment
documents based on Agile development methods
- Knowledge of the (Broadridge)Securities – Clearance & Settlement
industry is a plus
- Ability to quickly troubleshoot systems and support system outages
with minimal disruption
- Analytical ability, judgment, and the ability to work effectively
with, IT managers and staff
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Opportunity is based out of JSQ, Jersey City
