Title: SAP Basis NetWeaver Admin posted on 2014-05-05 15:29:00 Job Description:*Required:* · The candidate must be proficient in the administration and maintenance of multiple SAP systems as well as have sufficient knowledge of concepts to allow for system landscape design. · Administration will include performing installations, upgrades and providing on-going maintenance on various SAP Business package applications. *Responsibilities Include:* · 8+ years of direct SAP Basis and Java administration. · Experience with administration/development/configuring SAP XI other functionality required. · Provide project management for new SAP Installation and SAP Upgrades Perform installations, upgrades and patch applications to SAP software products, including R/3 (ECC 5.0 and 6.0), BW, SCM, SRM, XI, Enterprise Portals, SAP GRC (Virsa) and other SAP components Work in a mixed server environment covering Linux, Unix and Wintel servers using Oracle, DB2, SAP DB, and SQL Server databases Work collaboratively with the SAP Functional teams from the business and regional support hubs (local IT team) and management team on projects, issues and enhancements · Design, develop and implement disaster recovery practices, procedures and plans for SAP environment · SAP XI Interface development, troubleshooting and problem resolution. Strong skills with mapping and using XI to move data to and from SAP systems. · Provide problem resolutions and be part of a 24x7 on-call SAP support team Liaise with, Multiple SAP Functional teams Infrastructure (OS and DB Team) and third party vendors and contractors · Perform installations, upgrades and patch applications to SAP software products, including XI development and administration and Perl scripting · Interface with cross functional technical teams (Infrastructure and database teams) and business unit IT staff while providing leadership and guidance for SAP platform · Database Administration of SAP Databases. Performance Tuning · Experience with Integration engine and adapter engine.
