Job Title: ETL Informatica Location: Washington, DC
Duration: 6+ Months Complete Description: The ETL Informatica Developer will be responsible for assessing requirements and designing and developing the data integration/ETL strategy, technical architecture, implementation plan, solutions, and delivery for enterprise data warehouse projects. The ETL Informatica Developer will be responsible for establishing the long term strategy and technical architecture as well as the short term scope for multi-phased data warehousing data integration initiatives. The ETL Informatica Developer will perform analysis, design and implementation of ETL processes and architecture for our Enterprise Data Warehouse, Operational Data Store (ODS), and other data structures that support our Business Intelligence operations. The ETL Informatica Developer will analyzes requirements and existing resources to create efficient database and ETL designs that meet company IT standards and work with project and business analyst leads in order to develop and clarify in-depth technical requirements. The resource will participates in all phases of the ETL development lifecycle, including unit testing and ongoing support and must have strong professional consulting skills and the ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization Behavior Characteristics: The ETL developer should be a team player and have strong work ethics with excellent communication skills. Skills: Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Expertise Rating Experience with full life cycles of data warehousing projects using Informatica Power Center(7.1.3/8.6.1) Required 6 Years 3 - Expert Have extensively worked on developing ETL program for supporting Data Extraction, Transformation and Loading using Informatica power center. Required 12 Years 3 - Expert Expertise in working with Informatica and tools like Informatica Server, Repository Manager, Designer, Workflow Manger and Workflow monitor. Required 8 Years 3 - Expert Experience in all phases of Data Modeling - Conceptual, Logical and Physical modeling. Required 6 Years 2 - Proficient Strong experience in implementing Data warehousing solutions involving Dimension modeling with Star and Snow flake schema implementation. Required 6 Years 3 - Expert Extensively worked with Informatica performance tuning involving source level, target level and map level bottlenecks Required 8 Years 3 - Expert Experience in working with various RDBMS like Teradata, DB2, Oracle 11g/10g/9i, SQL server and MS-Access.
