Complete Description: The Software Tester will work with District agency resources to successfully create and execute test cases/scripts for database validation using SQL server and Oracle using SQL to validate backend. The Software tester will write test Strategies, Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scripts, Test Scenarios and Test Summary Reports for both Manual and Automated Testing. Resource will perform testing including Backend, Frontend, Regression, Functional, System, Interface, Usability, Black box, Integration Verification and Validation End-to-end and User Acceptance Testing. Resource will perform Regression and Functional Testing using Quick Test Professional and Mercury`s Quality Center for Test Designing, Requirement Mapping, Reports, Test Execution and Defect Tracking. The Software Tester will perform ETL The successful candidate will operate with minimal oversight and be fully experienced with all aspects of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Skills: Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Expertise Rating • Well-versed with all stages of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Required 8 Years 3 - Expert • Professional experience in Integration, Functional, Regression, System Testing, Load Testing, UAT Testing, Black Box and GUI testing Required 8 Years 3 - Expert • Experience in SQL and PL/SQL scripting Required 8 Years 3 - Expert • Created ETL test data for all ETL mapping rules to test the functionality of the Informatica graphs. Required 5 Years 2 - Proficient • Sound Knowledge and experience in Metadata and Star schema/Snowflake schema. Analyzed Source Systems, Staging area, Fact and Dimension tables in Tar Required 5 Years 3 - Expert • Tested the ETL Informatica mappings and other ETL Processes (Data Warehouse Testing) Required 6 Years 3 - Expert • Experience in creating Test Readiness Review (TRR), Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) documents. Required 8 Years 3 - Expert • Experience in preparing Test Strategy, developing Test Plan, Detailed Test Cases, writing Test Scripts by decomposing Business Requirements, and dev Required 8 Years 3 - Expert • Experience in Automation using Mercury Interactive Tools such as QTP, Load Runner and Test Director. Required 8 Years 3 - Expert • Experience in using HP Quality Center for Bug Tracking and Defect Reporting. Required 8 Years 3 - Expert • Expertise in querying and testing RDBMS such as Oracle, MS SQL Sever using SQL, PL/SQL for data integrity.
