Position:Java Architect Duration: 7 Months Location:Sunnyvale, CA Contract Job Responsibilities: • Provide guidance and expertise on Spring and Camel frameworks • Guide teams in RESTful API design • Migrate web services from legacy platform to Spring MVC • Migrate applications to Apache Camel for JMS connectivity • Work in collaboration with several teams both in person and virtually Qualifications, Experience and Skills : • You are a quick learner, comfortable working independently as well as collaborating effectively with other functional teams, have a passion for delivering quality solutions and constantly motivated to innovate and improve. • 6+ years experience in building distributed Java/J2EE client-server applications. • 2+ experience with message queuing solutions using JMS and Apache Camel • 4+ experience with Spring MVC & Hibernate • Experience designing RESTful web services for a variety of use cases • Experience designing fault tolerant message flows • Basic unix administration including installing Java/Tomcat & writing custom startup scripts • Technical mentorship abilities with excellent problem solving and communication skills. Must haves: Spring Apache Camel REST services Additional expertise in following technologies is preferred: o IBM MQ o SonicMQ ESB o JavaScript o Splunk HM Notes: This is for FindLaw a subsidiary of Thomson The Hiring Manager will give preference to candidates that proven and validated experience architecture.
