BI SQL Test Lead Redmond, WA 2 year contract + extensions Only H1B *JD* The IT Test Engineer Lead is a member of the EBI Quality Assurance team working on new, and existing BI Solutions software products. The candidate must be able to ensure the product meets the needs specified in the requirements. This includes review of the functional requirements and technical documentation, Mapping Documents and preparing, executing and reporting the results of an acceptance test plan which is cost effective given the risk of the project. *The Lead is expected to Co-ordinate / Guide with offshore team (China) and mentor Jr Staff.* *Responsibilities * Create detailed test plan, and test cases based on requirements / technology / design Creative test plans explaining the test coverage Create, maintain and execute test automation scripts, with existing automation tools. Collaborate with software engineering as needed to resolved problems and identify root cause of defects Contribute to project progress reports and testing metrics Maintaining project schedules / Elevates risks and provides mitigations Collaborate with offshore Dev / Test team in china Plan for capacity to support all projects *Skills & Qualifications* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience 10+ years of IT Experience 5 + years of Quality Assurance experience testing commercial software 5 years of hands on data warehouse testing / automation 5 + years in leading teams & collaborating / partnering with cross teams.
