*Job Description:*
Cognos Developer with 8+ years of experience and following qualifications:
· Significant experience using all of the tools in Cognos version
8.4.1 and version 10,
· Excellent communication skills, as interaction with end users and
other IT colleagues will be frequent.
· Experience working with SQL in a DB2 for z/OS environment
· Experience using Cognos Lifecycle manager
· Significant experience developing Framework Manager Models and
Packages
· Significant experience developing reports using Query Studio as
well as complex reports using Report Studio and Analysis Studio
· Significant experience developing complex cubes using Cognos
Transformer.
· Experience with Cognos running within the IBM zLinux / Websphere
environment or Cognos on a distributed platform is a plus.
· Familiarity with and ability to perform Cognos administration
tasks a plus.
· Familiarity with Cognos 10 Active Reports and Dynamic cubes a
plus.
The applicant must be able to perform a variety of Cognos tasks including:
· Report Development
· Package/Cube Modifications
· Tasks related to the Migration of Cognos 8.4 to Cognos 10
· Production Problems Support This developer must be a self-starter
that is able to work in a small team environment, where many different hats
may be worn in a day, multiple developers contribute to the goals of the
department, and work may be shared among any of these developers.
Job Requirements: · Significant experience using all of the tools
