*Experience:* 10+ years of IT and database experience
*Following are requirements for the position:*
1. Expert understanding of distributed data processing using *Hadoop
and map-reduce*
2. Extensive *complex enterprise level experience*
3. Expert understanding of *OOP concepts* and experience with at least
one OOP language e.g. *Java*
4. Must have *API development experience using Java*
5. Experience with *data mining* concepts & programming and *machine
learning algorithms*
6. Experience working with security, privacy and regulatory compliance
needs
7. Familiarity with BI tools e.g. MicroStrategy or open source data
visualization tools using Gephi, WebGL, tabletop.js, d3.js, raphael.js, etc.
8. Familiarity with relational database concepts and experience with
Oracle, Teradata or SQL server
9. Understanding of data flows, data architecture, ETL and processing
of multi-structured data
10. Strong data integration skills using ETL/ELT tools like Informatica
PowerCenter, WhereScape RED, etc.
11. Analytical skills and problem solving capabilities
