- Work with the Asset Management Lead, on-site and field resource to
identify changes and validate changes on moved equipment.
- Work with Asset Management Lead and service delivery teams to provide
Ad-Hoc reports.
- Work with Asset Management Lead and service delivery teams to identify
missing information and obtain that info and then get it loaded into ITSM.
- Work with Asset Management Lead to obtain and populate all Software
License Data and client provided data in ITSM.
- Work with Asset Management Lead to reconcile all software licenses
against all installed software instances to measure and report on software
license compliance.
- Process data from new bulk procurements by client.
- Process data from new disposals by client.
- Work with Asset Management Lead to follow defined processes to ensure
data accuracy within the Asset Management System.

*Job Description:*

Capacity Analyst for CoPa environment.  Candidate will provide Capacity
Management services for a multi-tenant distributed system and mainframe
environment utilizing the BMC Capacity Optimization (BCO) tool in an ITIL
environment.    This position is in the ECP Capacity Management group
within Enterprise Services.

·         *Tasks*

o    Work with client architects and account team to maintain an up-to-date
Capacity Plan  which reflects the current and future needs of the business

o    Provide a comprehensive monthly capacity report  identifying capacity
issues in the environment and provide recommendations to resolve issues.

o    Lead regular Capacity meetings with client

o    Provide advice and guidance to all other areas of the business and IT
on all capacity- and performance related issues

o    Ensure that service performance achievements meet or exceed all of
their agreed performance targets, by managing the performance and capacity
of both services and resources

o    Assist with the diagnosis and resolution of performance- and
capacity-related incidents and problems

o    Assess the impact of all changes on the Capacity Plan, and the
performance and capacity of all services and resources

o    Ensure that proactive measures to improve the performance of services
are implemented wherever it is cost-justifiable to do so

o    Decide which infrastructure components need upgrades at what time

o    Provide analytical modeling of “What if”  scenarios to support demand
forecasting and tech turns

o    Maintain the capacity management process and capacity management
documentation



·         *Desired Skills*

o    Excellent English Communications Skills, Written and Verbal

o    Experience leading capacity management process in a large environment

o    Excellent client interfacing skills capable of doing client
presentations (Technical & Executive Level)

o    Experience with ITIL Capacity Process

o    Experience with BMC BCO and Performance Assurance tool sets

o    Experience with BMC analytical modeling

o    Experience with Windows, UNIX, VMware, Network, and SAN technologies
and performance analysis of those technologies.

o    Familiarity with Nagios and SolarWinds

o    Experience  in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)



·         *Experience*

o    5 years capacity management experience
o    3 years technical experience on a technology such as UNIX or Windows.
