Job Title: JDA Business Analyst Location: Waukegan, IL Duration: 9 Months The BSA should be a senior level who can quickly assess our JDA implementation and start working on related projects. In addition, this resource should be able to provide training to junior BSA’s in the JDSA Fulfillment area. Primary liaison between the IT and business areas. Provides direct support to assigned business area. Works directly with clients and applies IT and business knowledge and experience to formulate an IT solution for a business problem. Leads department level projects or provides assistance to Program or Project managers on phases of a larger project.
Core Job Responsibilities Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. Applies and executes standard information systems theories, concepts and techniques and assists in the development of standards and procedures. Investigates alternatives, which use existing applications and makes recommendations. Conducts tests; develops preliminary findings for review by management. Conducts training. Manages projects according to milestones and within budget constraints. Identifies and implements process improvements. Position Accountability / Scope May have direct project budget responsibility. May have indirect project team responsibility. Adheres to established policies. Establishes and maintains productive relationships with all levels in the IT and organization, business function, and with external partners. Works with minimal management direction. Monitors and organizes the efforts of technical and business support staff. Guides the efforts of less experienced staff. Independently conceives and develops general approaches to the solution of systems problems which require application of basic technical principles. Exercises latitude in the approach to problem solving. Work is reviewed for soundness of business judgment and to determine if overall results and objectives have been achieved. Determines and develops approach and solutions to problem. Medium/high complexity work. Errors or failure to achieve expected results may result in project delays and/or the expenditure of more resources than was planned. Qualifications Minimum Education Bachelors Degree. No advanced degree required. Minimum Experience / Training Required 8-15 years of experience Good understandings of Supply Chain Management function with supply and JDA Fulfillment planning process.
