The Quality Assurance Developer serves a key role in developing automated
solutions that drive the quality of all project deliverables and code
supporting the client's projects. QA team members will have a working
experience in a software development role, a strong understanding of
software development methodologies, and experience developing and executing
tests covering multiple types of testing. They will have experience working
on large enterprise and agile product development efforts.
QA team members must possess strong technical and soft skills, balancing
Quality team members with software developers and enabling team members to
conduct all tasks necessary to certify the Estream product solution. Team
members may not possess all skills listed below; however, a solid mix of
these skills and experience listed are required.
*Soft Skills*
Excellent written and oral communication skills; exhibiting the ability
to communicate complex technical bugs in business terms, clearly and
precisely articulate to technical and management audiences.
Should be able to "white board and present solution architecture,
program and data flows
Passion for quality assurance; "breaking things, and seeing them "fixed
Innovative mindset, working with peers to "build a better mousetrap
with our technical solutions and capable of developing smart test solutions
with the right level of coverage utilizing efficient test methods.
Job Requirements: 5+ years' experience developing strategies to optimize
functional and non-functional test coverage by leveraging test automation
and/or testing tools
5+ years' experience in C# developing robust and reusable, data driven
automated tests
Experience with at a minimum Visual Studio 2010 required. Experience
with Visual Studio 2013 a plus.
Experience working with Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Test Manager
and Lab Manager.
Deep technical knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Coded-UI
or Selenium and object-oriented coding languages.
Experience with web technologies and JavaScript a plus.
Experience working in a Test-Driven Development environment, reviewing
unit tests (created by developers) and gauging overall quality and code
coverage required.
Working knowledge and experience with runtime memory analysis and code
profiling tools
Experience designing and developing custom test harnesses for
enterprise solutions in a Windows Server environment
Experience modeling and building test data for enterprise applications
using automated techniques
Strong understanding of automated build processes/practices and code
management techniques
Working experience with security and/or penetration testing
*Other Technology Skills or Experience*
Windows Server systems administration experience, including ability to:
Install and configure servers, ground-up
Build and configure domains, sub-domains, organizational units
Understanding of rights and privileges for users, groups
Strong knowledge of servers, virtualization, configuration and software set
up, including modification of Operating System settings
Strong enterprise networking knowledge including TCP/IP and other
protocols, knowledge of networking topologies and strategies/tools for load
balancing, disaster recovery
Web development, web server and/or farm management, including load balancing
Hands-on experience with deployment management & implementation of relative
best practices
Strong understanding and experience testing robust message based
architectures
